Sree Ramkrishna Sishu Tirtha High School:

I have been associated with Sree Ramkrishna Sishu Tirtha High School for years. My earliest memories of SRSHS are of a red tiled building with a handful of students and a dedicated team of staff.In order to extend the curriculum to a secondary level, we had applied for Govt. approval and we became successful in doing the impossible to possible by breaking the red tape. It was  with the help of 13 brave parents that we ventured out to start the fifth grade. Since then we have come a long way. The school has grown bigger and better. We have had students secure top honours within the state and county wide. We have had teachers who went above and beyond their designated duties to make an impact. 
To a personal level SRSHS has been my shrine. It has been an honour to steer this ship in the right direction. I wish SRSHS all the best and sure that more glorious days are ahead. 
After all in the words of Malala Yousafzai, "One book, one pen, one child and one teacher can change the world. "

শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণ শিশুতীর্থ হাইস্কুল ডানকুনি তথা হুগলি জেলার শিক্ষাঙ্গনে একটি পরিচিত নাম। আজ থেকে ২৬ বছর আগে প্রথম যখন এই বিদ্যালয়ে আমি আসি, তখন বিদ্যালয়টি ছোট্ট একটি চারা গাছ মাত্র, নার্সারি থেকে চতুর্থ শ্রেণি পর্যন্ত ছিল তার বিস্তৃতি। সকলের নিরলস প্রচেষ্টায় এবং ঐকান্তিক ইচ্ছায় সেদিনের সেই ছোট্ট চারাগাছ আজ মহীরুহ। নার্সারি থেকে দ্বাদশ শ্রেণি ( বিজ্ঞান, কলা, বাণিজ্য বিভাগ) পর্যন্ত পঠন-পাঠন চলে বর্তমানে। বহু দূর দূর থেকে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা আসে এই বিদ্যালয়ে শিক্ষা গ্রহণের উদ্দেশ্যে। কত ছাত্র-ছাত্রী এই বিদ্যালয় থেকে পাশ করে পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে আজ সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত। আমাদের সকলের গর্বের এই বিদ্যালয় স্বকীয়তায় উজ্জ্বল, স্বমহিমায় ভাস্বর। শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণ শিশুতীর্থ হাইস্কুলের বিশাল কর্মযজ্ঞের অংশীদার হতে পেরে আমি ধন্য। আগামীদিনে পরম করুণাময় ঈশ্বরের কৃপায় বিদ্যালয়ের আরও শ্রীবৃদ্ধি ঘটুক এই কামনা করি।

শিক্ষা এবং বিদ্যালয় অঙ্গাঙ্গিভাবে জড়িত। শিশু ভূমিষ্ট হওয়ার পর চারপাশ থেকে শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করে। পরে সে বিদ্যালয়ে আসে প্রথাগত শিক্ষা গ্রহণের উদ্দেশ্যে। বিদ্যালয় হল প্রকৃত মানুষ গড়ে তোলার পীঠস্থান। শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণ শিশুতীর্থ হাইস্কুল শুধুমাত্র একটি বিদ্যালয় নয়, একটি বৃহত্তর পরিবার। সকলের নিরলস প্রচেষ্টায়, শিক্ষানুরাগী মানুষদের সহযোগিতায়, সময়ের স্রোতে ধাপে ধাপে বিদ্যালয়ের উত্তরণ ঘটেছে প্রাথমিক থেকে মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চমাধ্যমিক স্তরে। পাঠাভ্যাস এর পাশাপাশি ছাত্র ছাত্রীদের ন্যায়বোধ, কর্তব্যবোধ ও পরিশীলিত আচরণ গড়ে তোলাই আমাদের লক্ষ্য। আগামীদিনে সন্তানসম ছাত্র ছাত্রীরা সৎ, আদর্শবান সর্বোপরি একজন সমাজ সচেতন সুনাগরিক হয়ে উঠুক এই কামনা করি।

Felicitating Message “Sree Ramkrishna Sishu Tirtha High School (HS)” has established itself as the landmark and pride in the field of academy, character building and manifestation of childhood and adolescents at Dankuni and its surrounding areas. Starting its journey in the year 1978 and stepping forward slowly but steadily it has consecrated itself as a leading Institution with corporate outlook, not only in the District of Hooghly but also in the state of West Bengal. The sanctified planning and dedicated initiative of groups of social workers and well wishers of Dankuni from time to time has exacerbated the Institution gradually from Primary to Jr. High, Jr. High to Secondary and ultimately from Secondary to Higher Secondary status. I am overwhelmed to announce that conscientious guardians, proficient and conversant Teaching staff and endeared non-Teaching staff of the Institution had allowed me the opportunity to ameliorate the glory of the Institution for the period from 2007 to 2013. During this period, the pro-active sincerity and precious efficiency of my Managing Committee colleagues and the magnanimous and gracious co-operation of the guardians had facilitated ourselves to boost up the graph of development vertically to materialize the dream of upgrading the school to Higher Secondary Status by constituting compatible infrastructure substantial for the forthcoming generations of the locality. I convey my thankful gratitude and warm congratulations to all the personalities, dignitaries, celebrities, well wishers, social workers, Teaching and non-teaching staff and honourable guardians since the inception of the school whose profound quality, expansive participation, and comprehensive activity has reached the school to its present state.
